So beautiful and colourfully cheerful but I wonder how heavy this will be when wet?!
ReplyDeleteI made myself a single bed cover way back last century, when I was 17 or so, simple colourful afghans, edged in black. At some point I decided to wash it and it came out fine on a hand wash, though it was a blummin marathon wash session! But hell was it heavy when wet lol
It really is sooo beautiful, a real labour of love and a lovely family heirloom to be treasured for many years to come. Looking forward to seeing where all you take it this week! :-) Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteWow, that really is amazing!!! A fabulous burst - or bursts! - of colour. I hope that you have many great hours snuggling under it! xx
