Persian Sweetie Shop Blanket - the Ta Da!

Two and a half years.
 

Four pounds of yarn.


5476 square inches of stitchery*.


One of these.


Four of these.


Four of these.


Forty eight of these.


Seventy six of these.


One hundred and fifty six of these.


And Ta Da!!!!!


I love it!  I love love love it!



 
I made a king sized bed sized blanket.
 

Did I mention how much I love it?


Time to put on the summer weight duvet just so I can have it on my bed.

  2. So beautiful and colourfully cheerful but I wonder how heavy this will be when wet?!
    I made myself a single bed cover way back last century, when I was 17 or so, simple colourful afghans, edged in black. At some point I decided to wash it and it came out fine on a hand wash, though it was a blummin marathon wash session! But hell was it heavy when wet lol
