After a day of relentless rain we decided that the Smalls' need to run was undeniable so we waterproofed up and headed out - 3 Smalls, me and my Mum.
We splashed in the waves until the Smalls got water in their wellies and up their sleeves. Talls Girl's wellies developed a hole and I failed to lift Giant Baby out of a deep wave quicky enough. They thought it was great!
Then we dug about a bit with sticks,
and watched the waves.
Then we went home and ate chocolate butterfly cakes.

That's the trouble with grey skies, wild winds and endless rain...you want to eat more! But I think it's great you don't let the weather deter you from taking the littlies out and about. Let's hope we get a break soon and get into summer properly.
