The great tapestry of Scotland - an update

Way back here I told you how much I enjoyed the Great Tapestry of Scotland. Well thanks to Kate over at Needled, I have just found out that it is back on display and AND a book has been published showing every panel. I had a sneaky peak on Amazon's Look Inside facility and it looks amazing.

I urge you to go and see it if you can. Go early, take your time and be inspired. I will definitely be going once we are back in Blighty! 

I also urge you to look at Kate's blog. It was one of the first I started reading. It is beautifully written with lovely real images. She is a knitwear designer and textile historian and is so so interesting. 

Ooo I feel quite excited just thinking about it!
